AVERT specializes in SUPPORTING emergency response, including Search & Rescue.

We believe that Community Emergency Response Teams (C.E.R.T.) are an essential component for surviving natural disasters and terrorism. We strive to make sure that C.E.R.T. members have the training and supplies necessary to keep their communities safe and responsive during a time of crisis.

We work with C.E.R.T. teams within the United States and throughout the world assisting with member training, team coordination, and the acquisition of disaster supplies. We currently have chapters in North America, South America and Europe that work hard to help their communities during times of crisis.

We provide resources and information for people and groups interested in increasing knowledge about disasters and first-response strategy and tactics (also known as Community Emergency Response Team "CERT" membership).
